Lisa and Dave have moved to a new home outside of Rolla, Missouri where Dave is now teaching math at the university. The children are settled into school after having commuted from Festus for several months.

The big adventure of this summer was Sam's participation in the Pitch, Hit & Run competition. Sam won his trials in Rolla, moved and won his Sectional in Columbia. He then had a chance to compete at Busch Stadium in St. Louis prior to a Cardinals game for a chance to go to the finals at the All Star game. Unfortunately, he could only finish in fourth place, but was a great effort overall. Great job, Sam!
